I’d hope that Ward has marked this as a potential 2 points. Warrington have been hit and miss all season. We need a better team on the field though, could do with Eden and Austin back in. Win this and we’re probably safe from relegation. I can’t see Wakey getting any where close to Saints if they play like they did against us.

I’d have felt more confident with watts and Horne in the squad.
But johnstone is to slow, there won’t be any speed from the ruck or any quick scoots.

11/2 Cas,and Wire 16 point favourites just about sums up the task we’re facing. Only plus side is Saints squad for Wakey is strong and if they are bothered about the LLS this would be their chance to put a big score on someone. Unlike when they sent a reserve squad to London and got beat by the Broncos.

Mmm…not quite the result we wanted plus more missing next week with HIA. Good job Wire blew three more tries or we’d be a Wakey win away from the Championship. Just throwing this into the mix.

In 2 weeks time Wakey travel to Leigh. Leigh by then will be stuck in 4th place with no chance of going higher or lower whether they win or lose, so decide to rest 7 or 8 players (or even more) ready for the play-offs, gifting Wakey an easy win.

It could well happen, looking at the table as it stands now!!.
