I doubt no coach in the sport has 100% backing from every player on the team however just like in every other job you get on it with and play your role.
We seriously need some stability, and if Ward isn’t staying then the next appointment must be right, we can’t go swapping out coaches multiple times a year.
I don’t think McGuire would be a good fit and I can see him being sacked early on if the results don’t go our way. We could do with someone experienced and and able to get the most out of a limited budget - not sure who would fit that though.
