We can only speculate about the Broadbent situation but he hasn’t exactly ‘shone’ of late. I’m not sure what hos best position actually is but that may mean he offers good support across the back line, but only as back up.
My old mate Rich Whiting made a career out of being versitle but he was different gravy. His versatility meant Hull could always find somewhere in the starting 13 rather than being a reliable back up, if needed.
