We should have shipped Miller out and kept DR. By no stretch of the imagination is Miller better than DR.

It seems to me it was more of a case of DR asking to go because he’d been advised by Cas that we wouldn’t be renewing his contract. Milnes seems key to this decision, not Miller.

Miller has played better of late and may well have another year to go on his contract so not as easy to off-load.

Feel for DR a loittle, after everything he’s gone through but it may well turn out to be the correct mveo for all.

I think it’s a decision that suits at the moment, for me he’s just going from being back up at Cas to being back up at KR, good for them if one of their first choice halves picks up an injury not so good should one of ours picks up a knock, I suppose he could always be recalled if needs be.

Not sure he will be recalled.
Lingard as said we have cover in Macca or hoy, plus we have a couple of good youngsters in the academy.
So I can’t see him ever playing for us again.

I like the option of giving the youngsters a chance but that has to be next year when we are comfortably in the new IMG set up.

I can’t see Dr getting more gametime at kr tbh. But lingard says he wouldn’t be offered a contract at the end of the year either. So it’s better to save the cash now.
