Sad news but given his age and recent injury record completely understandable. Been superb in his time with Cas,one of those rare players who had the ability to change a game on his own. Hope he can go out in the manner he deserves.

The capture of Macca has to be one of, if not the, best deals in Cas’ history. We off-loaded a two bit criminal and got a Man of Steel.

He’s been a great servant to the Club and played a big part in our glory year of 2017.

I hope he gets a resounding send off tonight from all those present, he deserves it.

If rumours are true about macguire going back to Leeds, maybe Macca as assistant at cas.
It is only rumour by the way. Just seen other forums mentioned it.

If DM goes to Leeds he will only learn how to spend, he will never learn how to coach players and if he wants out, show him the door, he is not bigger than the club
