Hoping this game will be close enough to be exciting after the last couple. Could be a case of can our makeshift back line hold there own,and conversely can our pack subdue the Rhinos who are missing quite a few. Lisone still there though and we need to have learnt a lesson from our last meeting,he’s some unit coming off the bench. Bookies calling it an 18 point game,hoping it will be closer.

Of the players on the pitch for us today, 3 are Sl standard in Asi, Mellor & Lawler. The rest would struggle to get in the top Championship teams.

stuey Pretty much, I’ve seen some poor performances in my time,one against Warrington springs to mind but in terms of effort,attitude,skill and application this one takes biscuit. Unless rock bottom has a basement we’ve reached our destination.

I left at half time. The first time I’ve ever done that. I was already tired enough and there was no chance I could sit through another 40 watching Leeds run riot. After seeing the final result I’m glad I walked when I did.

Can’t help but think telling half the squad they’re not going to have a job next year a couple of months before the end of the season is maybe not the best motivational tool ever employed. Telling them they’re playing for a contract,dangling the carrot is one thing,saying no matter what you do you’re off is another. No wonder most of them looked like they couldn’t be arsed. And by the same token having someone who clearly doesn’t want to be coach by his own admission doing the job is hardly clever. As for our much vaunted defence coach I’m not at all sure what he’s doing.
