A bit of a strange one really. A British centre, especially when we’ve only 2 on our books being Cini and Valemei and no overseas spots available.

We just be wheeling and dealing which would make sense of rumours.

Innes senior for Darnell Macintosh who can play centre/wing/fullback
Hoy for a halfback
Horne for Nene MacDonald.

These would be the obvious ones with Hood due to come in and leave us with lots of hookers.

With Hull not making the playoffs and Wakefields “Top 6 grand tour” finally over,no reason now not to announce Hood,Atoni and Ashworth if they are indeed done deals,for clarity’s sake if nothing else. To be honest I’d completely forgotten about Macintosh. Wood apparently wanted to leave and the club haven’t stood in his way which is fair enough and if we could wangle in McDonald I’d think we’d be getting the best of the deal, Clearly we have a number of irons in the fire or we could have ensured Wood fulfilled his contract. All quite convoluted at the moment but once again we’re relying on Chester getting it right.
