Looks like it could be over for them. Website has gone offline, players told to find new clubs as they won’t be getting paid.

Can’t see how they’re going to get out of this one.

Sad news for Featherstone,they’ve always been a community club with a loyal fan base but if you live beyond your means as so many current clubs do these things will happen,and in the current economic climate with greater frequency. Failing the arrival of a white knight hopefully they will be able to reform at a lower level.

A lot of clubs try to make the magical super league but fail on the way. But, if the league thinks our fan ceiling is 9000 in a good year, what does that mean for fev? 5000 at most.

York are relying on away fans coming to heavily bolster their crowds but in truth it isn’t happening. Away fans are few and far between. We used to sell out Cas for Leeds but now they bring 1500. The rest don’t get close to that unless they are on a roll ala kr.

Feel for fev. But they wouldn’t get a penny from me I’m afraid, too many bad times with their fans. Not to mention the hammer man now running the club.

RaoulDuke I’m afraid many of us have had less than edifying experiences with the Fev faithful home and away,Cas weren’t the only club at the receiving end either.Sympathies for their plight might well be limited even by the normally generous Rugby League community. Reaping what they’ve sown maybe.

They’ve had so many chances to make SL and blew them all when it came to the matches that counted. The cash they threw at players to try and achieve promotion only to fail each time won’t have helped.

Had some nasty times with Fev fans, they put a mate who we’d gone to post office road with in hospital, 2 broken ribs. Absolutely no sympathy from me.

Not seen any confirmation of Connor Wynne signing anywhere for 2026,it was rumoured he was KR bound but no announcement been made. He would be one of the better Championship players if available.
