Good news. We were stacked in the hooker department and need a starting half back.

RaoulDuke Absolutely,half back has to be a priority. We discussed his form on here earlier in the season because he had taken a dip from 24 but a decent cover pick up for Leigh though surprised they’ve used a quota spot for him. Raised an interesting question with regards to Hoy,if we do sign a starting half to partner Asi with Windley and Atkins as back up,we then have three options at Fullback,can’t imagine we’ve used a quota spot on Taafe not to start him so how happy would Tex be as cover?

Horne never recovered from coming back to preseason 3 stone over weight.
When he was on form he was a good player, but that was few and far between.
I’m sure Chester and Carr know what’s what, with 3 hookers at the club I think we are covered.

We need a goal kicking half-back to replace Horne as one of the quota spots.

We are stacked at hooker so it made sense for Horne to be the one to depart. He’s not been the same player in the last 12-18 months so maybe he needed a change and for Leigh he is an upgrade on Brad Dwyer. Replacing Horne with Weaver is good business and fills a gap we desperately needed to fill.
