A rusty match to watch tbh.
Cas started with singleton and senior as the only 2 with a credible chance to play come round one.
Rooney, windley, hill and Beckett also played.
Rooney pretty safe with everything (barring one drop it was cold and wet and foggy though)
Sarbah the right winger did really well. Worked hard and made meters and a try assist. If he can keep learning from Ravawala. He’ll come good.
Grice at left second row worked really hard and took his chance well. Tackling outstanding.
Beckett played 70 minutes and though not outstanding did well making meters and tackling.
Windley got more and more into the game and got better.
Senior did well and set up a try
Singleton did his thing but he’s more of a ball handler than hard runner, which I don’t think we need. But he did lead the team forward and played good minutes. Deserved his day and there was a good crowd, even if half the ground was shut during the renovations.
