To put it into perspective.
Saints are a top 4 side and have been for years and able to add ⅔ quality players each year against a team adding a hell of a lot more players.
We are completely new with new systems and players.
If you thought we’d go there and beat them, give your head a shake. It’s barely something we’ve done in 30 years, why would this happen in a first hit out for some players since September last year. And some even longer. Against, barring the odd one or 2, the same squad that came 5th and 24 points ahead of us last year.
It’ll take time but it will be worth it. Carr and Jepson are no fools. If you don’t pull your weight you’ll be out. The proof is there from last years turnaround.
