Tickets now on sale for the Cup game at Doncaster,hopefully we’ll travel in numbers. While I’m quite happy to pay £22 for a ticket and I know it will make for a good payday for Donny,can’t help but think that with ever dwindling attendances in the challenge cup they could have offered some kind of incentive to put bums on seats. As a comparison my local football club Norwich are
playing West Brom in the FA cup the following week,full price is £10,my ticket is £5.75. Never been before but this has encouraged me to go,if I enjoy it I may well go again. Think the game might be missing a trick.

I think Clunky would be a reasonable description of that performance,we clearly went into the game with a conservative game plan and when we did try to be more expansive the timing wasn’t quite there and the combinations looked like what they were,very much a work in progress. Lots to do for our coaching team on the training field,hopefully some of the creases will be ironed out prior to the Wigan game because we are going to be challenged defensively in a way we weren’t today and our pack who struggled to dominate today are really going to have to front up. Being honest I’d be remarkably surprised if we could hold Wigan to 3 scores,and I see that as realism rather than negativity. We are where we are my worry is that like all clubs we have an element of support that will overreact to us getting a battering at the hands of Wigan when Carr and the squad when what we need is time.

Its 17 men against 17 men and the Cas of old always raised their game in contests like this, no reason that this cant happen again in this new era.

Imo we don’t stand a chance.
Saints are far more in front of us.
It’s gonna take a quarter of a season to bed all the players in and become pristine and smooth with the new structures.
Tbh I’m not to fused if we get knocked out, we have a small squad, can’t afford injuries.
We need to kick on in the league. That should be our priority.
