Well well I can’t say I was expected that result to kick off the new season. Let’s hope we can continue on and do the same to Wigan.

I think HKR thought they had it won before they got off the bus.
Looks like complacency set in.
York deserved it, tackled like demons.
As for rovers their attack was woeful.

The least said about lewis the better……..petulant.
Should have been a red, it was a blatant trip, no if’s or but’s.
Was the ref leniant because of next week, I think so.
Should get a ban, but he won’t.
Ref bottled it.

Enjoyed the game, score 19 - 18 4min to go internet went down, frustrated until I saw final result.

Makes even more sweeter that KR had asked for York, Bradford or Toulouse in the first round because of their next match.

I think we let McShane go a season too early. His leadership alone was worth it and he’s clearly still got it in him to put in a full shift.

I think McShane and Vaughan will be best judged on the season as a whole.
First game out, no question York played up and HKR were poor. Typical pre-season fayre for me a game of low quality.

Hopefully we can upset the odds this week as well.

im not a york fan / supporter but im delighted they beet kr, lewis certain red card, but oh wait a minute he doesnt play for cas so only yellow, will he get suspended?
