Away in France this week - hopefully we’ll be able to pick up the points. On paper we’re stronger but they’ll be no pushovers.

Early season but a must win. One we get 2 points in the league, it’ll settle everyone down.

I was impressed by the Tolouse pack against Wakey,some big units who can make decent meters,I think they’ll prove a handful. We defended well on the whole against Wigan and we’ll need a repeat of that.Last season we were repeatedly vulnerable just before half time,that needs addressing somehow,Ravalawa did make a couple of handling errors coming out of defence but we did seem to over rely on him bringing the ball out,when it works it works but he will make mistakes and it will soon become an easy read for the opposition. I was fairly happy with our overall performance last week,would have liked to see more threat from dummy half or to be honest any threat. We’re a work in progress and any progress come Saturday might see us come home with the win,certainly hope so.

this is going to be very hard & looking at the other promoted clubs results there will be no shame in losing to any of them, today will be a good test.

Agree, it’s gonna be very tough.
Lose this though and all the positives from last week will be out the window.
I’m not convinced we will win, I’m very fearful for this game.
I don’t think any SL games will be easy.

Looking at bradford last night, their forward were massive.
We seem to be lightweight in that department.
Think that will be our Achilles heel.

The top four or five look like being the usual suspects but with no obvious whipping boy this season there are going to be some cracking games in the lower half of the table.

On our performances so far this season, are we any better than last season. Two big defeats so far against two good sides in Saints & Wigan & now a defeat against a poor team in Toulouse.

I appreciate it will take some time for our new team to gel, but we were poor today. 8 missed tackles for their first try, several stupid mistakes and dropped balls, and we did not pose a single threat in the second half.

Early days, but we need to improve massively or it will be bottom place for us. Rawalaja is useless defensively.

I know it’s early however we really needed that win tonight. Losing becomes a habit really quickly and against a newly promoted team we should have been better.

We’ve had all pre-season to get the squad playing together, how many games should we expect before the team gels?

There’s a risk this season that we could be replaced, so far the promoted teams have offered more to the competition than we have.

We were poor tonight and quite a few players didn’t bring much to the party,I’m willing to give some of the newcomers some leeway including Ravalawa,Stuey is right he’s a bit of a defensive liability but Atkins,Stimson and Asi who have been with us a little while aren’t really proving their worth,a few others are probably showing signs of age regardless of their efforts. Our persistence with trying to manufacture props just doesn’t work, Lawler,Westy and Stimson just aren’t the answer and I’ve an awful feeling they’ll try to do the same with Greacen. We’re only two games in and the gate is already creaking and needs a dam sight more than a squirt of oil.

what a dreadful situation we are in, terrible tackling & hardly any of the new recruits showing any promise apart from mamapapalangi & George Lawler the only forward with any grunt, we buy Wakefileds old hooker who never made one run from dummy half whilst they sign a hooker from Brisbane Broncos & Ravalawa is another chase Blaire

We were embarrassing to watch and are nailed on to be a mid Championship club if we survive the fall.
I never thought be into slamming our own players but they walked through that second half and only one or two are fit to wear the shirt, the two Wakey rejects are a joke and to think we got rid of Horne and replaced him with Hood is just comedy gold.
We knew that last season we were in for some beatings but this centenary false dawn is taking the p**s
And we have the best defensive coach in the league allegedly
I have never felt this bad about the future of this club as I do now.

We are a nailed on bottom 3 side and probably bottom two. Lose to Huddersfield next week and the wooden spoon is a very real possibility. Then wait for the clamour for us to be replaced by London.

Us being replaced by London is nailed on, its taken 30 years but SL will get its wish at last.
With the crowds falling and the IMG scores being “flexible and manageable” (as seen by Bradfords 10th place) will see the end of this once great club.
Sad to say but the current playing staff are assisting in its demise

43sflyer Substitute Flanagan for Ashall Bott and it could be a very similar scenario,hopefully Carr will have seen enough yesterday to make a few changes,with luck we could have Greacen,Cini,Ashworth,Valemei,Hirst and Golding available. Enough to make a statement to those who played Saturday that it wasn’t an acceptable performance.

pirate You may be correct however i think our main rivals for the ‘drop’ is Huddersfield. That’s why Friday is massive. Finishing above them is our best argument for survival, we need these players to fire. Huddersfiled are missing half a dozen of their first 17 this week. If we can’t get over the top of them at home we aren’t beating anybody this year.
