Leeds were on fire in Vegas, we can only hope the celebration and travel has left a bit of a hangover.

It will be interesting to see how far we have improved this season

I’m struggling with this one,as a punter I look for form lines but this season is full of surprises. Wigan aside an order hasn’t really been established. Leeds were poor against a Leopards side that aren’t pulling up any trees,yet battered a York side who were decent against Wire and hammered a KR side who were poor on the night. We performed ok v Wigan,were undone by Tolouse’s speed round the ruck and comfortably beat the Giants. Leeds look like they’ll challenge this season,for me it’s how close we can get. I’m certain we’ll challenge more often than not this season and I’m sure there’ll be some cracking games to be seen. Today if we get an 80 minute performance,don’t let our heads drop I’ll be happy.

Seriously starting to become annoying that Ravalawa refuses to contest and jump for the ball. He just stood there looking at it.

Ihve seen it before this season, but Rawalaja is crap defensively.

He is indeed,a fact everyone in Australia seemed to know. Question is do you put up with his defensively frailties for what he does with ball in hand? Thought we were decent first half save for a few silly errors.

We need to get him off the field. He’s a massive liability, just done exactly the same thing again.

We have been crap in the 2nd half. Far to many errors and giving penalties to them.

Until we learn to deal with opposition kicks we’re going to get peppered every week,that game was the very definition of shooting yourself in the foot,silly errors and silly penalties. Make no mistake Leeds are decent,defensively we were ok defensively till the ball went in the air then it was mass panic. A few really put a shift in today,a few were a liability. Bad decision making cost us time and time again at both ends. We need a Full back desperately,a creative half wouldn’t go amiss and a large wad off cotton wool to wrap Mapapalangi in….lads a gem!

It wasnt the hammering we expected so I am not too disappointed with the result, however Rava needs some one on one coaching in high balls and tackling. I feel if he had jumped a few times we would have got line clearing penalties because the whinos were on him and would have made contact while he was airborne,
Asi is also not improving like we thought he would, maybe its a confidence thing with him, but he also need some heavy coaching.
All in all i can see the improvements all over the park, stand outs being QQ , Lawler (despite the daft pens) and Cini.
Lane and Ashworth look solid
Weaver punches way above his weight
Maps is the real star of the show.
If we get Brock and Semi on the field against the saints i can see us upsetting them and maybe sneaking a win

Ravalawa has to be dropped the moment Valemei is fit, his powerful runs just don’t outweigh the the fact that he costs us way too much defensively. Asi can go with him as well. Seriously Jacob Miller offered more than him.

Have to agree on Asi,defensively he’s decent but offers nothing in terms of creativity and his kicking game is one dimensional,so easy to read even for an average full back but bread and butter for someone of Millers quality especially when the kick chase was lacking.
