Even though I’ve liked Brad Dwyer over the years I just don’t get this.We’re playing Hull KR away on a short turnaround,the odds say,KR are 1/40 favourites are going to batter us,what earthly difference is he going to make unless we were looking at a longer deal. We have reserves who can step into the role and gain much needed experience,no sense at all for me.

Robb and Doolan just don’t seem to be on carr’s radar, or not experienced enough, though I have a sneaky feeling robb could be on the bench.
In normal circumstances Lawler would have played hooker, but he’s gone for 2 games.
So let’s see what formation Carr plays.

We also have Aston Golding, or is he out long term as well. He looked our best nr 9 in the short period he played.

We should be saving some of our bullets for the following match v York, as this is a winnable match. The Hull KR match is not, even with a full strength team. But there again the way we blow hot and cold, we could beat Hull KR and lose to York. Crap one week, brilliant the next.

Maturecasfan If Dwyer is here longer term it would make more sense,simply bringing him in for Thursday to me would be totally pointless. We could potentially have 4 new players in the 17 for KR,if we are giving them experience before we play York,great but can’t see any of them making a difference on Thursday. Even listening to Carr’s latest interview
his plan for tomorrow is as clear as mud.

With the injuries we have, we really have no choice but to bring super league players in.

In the hooking role we need someone’s to get us round the field, Doolan isn’t ready. Robb needs matches and Goulding isn’t really a hooker.

The Leeds lad guild a hooker but it’s rather have gone with Beckett and matejev.

Completely agree with bringing in Phoenix and Dupree we need them and they do have recent top flight experience, Dwyer at a stretch for his leadership but not for a week, but we’ve got equal forward talent to anything the Leeds lad has to offer. Clearly I’m in the minority so I’ll shut mi gob and just hope we go well 👍
