Ryan Carr has a massive job on his hands. I feel sorry for him, he inherited a very poor squad due to Chester`s very poor signings. Has he got the magic touch to wave a wand and get everything sorted by the end of the season? I doubt it. I believe he is a good coach but his inherited squad are just not good enough and you can not polish a terd.

Of the Chester signings only Valeima & Mapalangi are an improvement on last years squad. Taaffe - jury still out. The rest are at best Championship standard.

Our centenary year and it’s looking like we are gonna finish rock bottom.
Happy anniversary.

Chester’s recruitment as been atrocious, he need to answer to this.
He recruited well at leigh, what’s gone wrong with us.
Maybe he had more of dereks money to bring in a better players.
We always seem to be on a shoestring budget, maybe there lies out problems.
God knows how we are gonna get out of it.

Whispers surfacing that the night of the long knives is upon us on both sides of the touchline. It’s needed after a couple of recent showings but would it be brutal enough to make a difference this season? And have we the funds available to make it happen? Carr’s job will be on the line if he’s given what he’s asked for and still fails to produce.

If the long knifes come out it should be Chester, but to late now as the crap players he has signed probably have long contracts.

Not just Chester but the two “assistant” coaches need to go as well and let Carr choose his own coaching staff.
Chester is a Wakey man through and through and if I was a cynical tw@ i would say that this shit show is deliberate
