We beat Wigan and deservedly so,they’re in a particularly poor run of form, especially in an attacking sense, their spine is disjointed and the half backs against us didn’t fire, today Hulls did,as did Wakeys and Wires. Our issues are deeper than that but quite simply when we come up against halves who can control a game and kick effectively we are stuffed, can’t cope. Either our players aren’t capable of adapting to the system our defence coach wants or our defence coach isn’t capable of finding a system that our players can implement. Probably a bit of both, but until we can somehow get it sorted we’re going to get a few more hammerings. As for our onfield discipline, we don’t seem fit enough/quick enough to play the game at the tempo the current laws demand, hence the number of six agains. That was evident from the Tolouse game and weeks later still not been properly sorted . In the nicest possible way a lot of our discipline issues might be better addressed by a Sports psychologist than a rugby coach.
