The team were out on the Ale at Boundary house Methley the morning after the HKR debacle, all smiles and vaping away. professional sportsmen VAPING. FFS We are year six into the three year plan even though they keep shifting the starting date I am finally out of excuses for the teams efforts Its the hope that kills you and at 69 I dont have the time to keep hoping for some sort of miracle but still cant walk away, Does Jepson know what the club means to the supporters or is it just a business investment to him, he is primarily a property developer. I cant see a way out of this without our own night of the long knives trimming out the Wakey loving deadwood and others CTID

Absolutely agree Hepworth.
Players are human beings not robots.
What these new rules are doing is putting extra strain on players bodies, hence there’s more injuries.
The 6 again needs kicking into touch.
If the ref can’t police the ruck then they shouldn’t be reffing.
It’s worked years gone by.
The NRL is just the same with injuries, it stands out like a sore thumb the reason why.

The sport has become too focused on speeding everything up. The six again rule can lead to a domino effect, you’ve already defended 5 tackles, get hit by the infringement and have to go in to another set, now the players are fatigued and end up giving another set away and then the opposition scores.

It’s also too inconsistent. One tackle you can sit on the player for 5+ seconds, the next tackle you need to be away instantly otherwise the count is reset.

I also own some bricks, pay into the lottery, season ticket holder etc… in fact, I’ve got a certificate from when I put into a squad builder to buy a Salford prop ( Emmit or Emmott) played well that year.

We are so invested as supporters, it’s sometimes hard to remember what brought us there in the first place. I followed my dad, who followed his dad and his dad. All lived in Cas, don’t now but close enough. It’s not a choice, maybe a penance fair evil deeds!

I do enjoy the ride, the lows mean the highs get higher and I’ll be there in which ever league, even part time. Enjoy the trip over, win or lose, it’s better than being a rhino!

Hepworth Hard to find stats on the six against but on average the NRL averages about 50% less per game than Super League which is a huge difference so either the players have adjusted to the rules better or the Refs are applying a bit more common sense,probably a bit of both. Either way I don’t think it’s adding anything to the game.

The 6 agains are a real pain for the sport. Dinner refs give it for defensive hands on the ball and others don’t. Some for holding down and yet use the KR method of 5 in a tackle and it’s never given against them.

The set reatart rule makes it easier to get the result the referees and RFL want, It is open to blatant cheating
