Cas v Leigh - R13

Leigh have been in pretty decent form at the moment and we’re coming off the back of two wins. If we’re able to put the same amount of effort in as we did against Saints then it could be a close game.

While we wouldn’t move up the table it starts to put us close to the top 6, something which wasn’t on the cards earlier this year.

At home in front of a decent crowd, a week off and spirits high from the Saints game. I’m going to say we’ll take the two points, 22-16 to Cas.

Though we might not move high in the table.
It moves us further away from the bottom two.
I think at the minute that is our main priority, to see daylight away from the bottom teams.

Agree, we have to get away from the bottom place, as sure as eggs is eggs London will replace someone in SL next year. 15 teams does not work as the extra fixtures would mean starting mid-January as 30 weeks needed even without Magic Weekend, and how would that work with an odd number of teams. We have to finish above Huddersfield as it will be us or them who go down wherever we or they finish in the final table.
