Looks to be shaping up as a Leigh vs Batley final. Another year where Fev fail to make SL, have to wonder what goes wrong in the matches that actually matter.

Awesome win for Batley though. Hopefully they can do that again against Leigh. Won’t be easy after they put 70 past York. Shall be cheering for them in the final though!

Not sure why they always fail at this time of year but I do expect Brian Mac to be unemployed by the end of today (Monday) if they can find someone brave enough to tell him.

Still, I must give some credit to the Fev fans. They've been saying all season they won't lose to Leigh in the MPG! 😂

Well played Batley for sure - but can't see anything other than a Leigh win.
Can't see any odds on Bet365, but would imagine Batley would be close to double digits.

When the odds are released it might be worth a small gamble. Batley will be up for it as they might only get this chance to make SL.

If it is Leigh and it probably will be I hope they manage to stop the yo-yo next season and a different club goes down - that is if the RFL don't change the rule book again and scrap relegation or change how many teams are in SL.

So no fairy tale ending for Batley. Would have been great to see a different team in SL. Hopefully Leigh manage to assemble a squad capable of staying up next season.
