Amazing how we’ve “strengthened” our squad and managed to get worse. Awful defensive positioning, attack was stilted by the fact we couldn’t put together any semblance of a passing move,our halves couldn’t get the basics right let alone create anything and god forbid they should take the line on. And don’t get me started on the kicking game. That was a long disheartening 80 minutes of almost amateurish rugby. During the commentary after we had somehow managed to score Wells said “Wakefield have left the door ajar,can Castleford kick it down?” On that performance they could have left the bloody thing wide open and we’d still have run into the wall!
