Harsh after last nights performance to look at players shortcomings especially when if the video refs calls had gone the other way we could have run out comfortable winners. So much to enjoy in terms of effort and application but I’ve no doubt Ryan Carr will be taking a dispassionate view on what he saw,and there are as many lessons to be learnt from victory as from defeat. Our kicking game was still poor, Atkin although good last night isn’t a starter for me,same applies to Wood and Wallis,someone needs to take charge of our defensive structure,Hoy is some player but a great communicator he isn’t,deserves his place but we need a Gale/Macca type to get the message across. As for Griffin,great way to bow out George but the times right. Observations not criticism,i thoroughly enjoyed last night but the objective is moving forward and backing up performances.
