In respect of green cards, I don’t get why they are used when we have the ball. It was brought in to stop defenders faking to slow the game, we gain no advantage being a player short.
It grinds my gears when the Wigan player pretends to be injured and we get a player banned for helping him up. In all honesty the ref should have given him a green card. By the letter of the law but then again certain teams are assisted.
