For some reason the other owners don’t want to challenge him and back down. Mr Jepson said the same at the latest directors meeting that he didn’t agree with the implementation of the 14 team rule prior to 2027 but for unity backed it and voted yes. At least one other club did the same. And I believe one club abstained, I seem to remember it was Wigan.
Yes the sport is in the news but for the wrong reasons again.
